“ I’ve been coming here for years after a friend showed me this hidden gem of a shop. I only go every six months or so, but every time I do the shop owner (I feel bad for not remembering her name) recognizes me! It’s such a small touch but I really do appreciate her dedication to be professional and welcoming. You can tell she cares and takes pride behind her products, and is protective of them and her shop. I’ve brought my mom, my friends, and even ex-boyfriends here who I suspect still go even though we’ve broken up, but that’s just how lovable this store and the lady who runs it is <3 ”

“ I love this store! I found it at the end of summer and quickly became a regular customer. Especially for the rose saffron latte! Both owners have been warm and welcoming. The selections of tea are incredible and as a regular tea drinker, I appreciate the ability to have access to high quality looseleaf tea. These women are passionate about tea and it shows! From the variety of mixtures they offer to the podcasts they deliver. They give honest feedback about my selections and even offer advice if they feel the teas I’ve selected contain similar ingredients and I’m getting too much of one ingredient over another. They remember me and my partner and engage in small talk whenever possible. Sometimes it’s busy in the store and I’ll take a walk down the beach (it’s on the PCH) and come back just so I can get some time with them. They have so much knowledge and passion to share. ”

“ My husband and our two friends went down to Laguna and we wanted to check out this nice tea shop. It did not disappoint. I love that they have little tins above the product that you can smell the teas. They had so many different teas to choose from. We got to meet one of the owners Kavita. She was absolutely lovely we ended up having a great conversation with her. She was very helpful and answered questions to the best of her knowledge. My husband and I purchased a couple of different teas to try and we each purchased cups with the tea infuser. I made myself a cup of the cinnamon orange spice tea today and it was absolutely delicious the flavor of the tea was excellent. I can't wait to try the stress busting adaptogenic chi that I got as well. I look forward to my next visit. ”

“ Drove in from Anaheim to check out this beautiful shop and I’m so glad I did! I recently went to a tea experience where I discovered my love for it. I immediately got to googling loose leaf tea shops and this was 1 of 2. It’s the most perfect quaint shop yet there is sooo much to choose from. Talking with the owner was such a pleasure. She knows so much and passed along so much knowledge for us as beginners. I am definitely looking forward to doing a deep dive into the world of tea. This shop is so vital because loose leaf stores are rare here! A gem, will visit again. More to say: After a year, my love for this store has only grown. The shelves full of tea selections, great spice blends and loose herbs, decorative displays full of tea making supplies and other kitchen goodies. This colorful place is a gift to our community. ”

They have a sample box for each type of tea that you can open and sniff and they sell the teas in 1 oz. bags for $6. So fun to be able to buy multiple kinds to try - Cinnamon Orange Spice is my favorite so far! ”

“ This place, these people - are amazing!! Our daughter, who loves chai, is getting married to a young man from Laguna Beach. My daughter was kindly gifted a bag of masala chai from Tea & Turmeric a few months ago by her future mother in-law and she loved it! As we were thinking of how we can best welcome the guests to the wedding, it recently occurred to us that it would be really special if the welcome bags for wedding guests could each include a bag of Tea & Turmeric's Organic Masala Chai. One week ago called Tea & Turmeric to see if they could possibly make 120 bags of masala chai and get it to us in Colorado in fewer than 10 days. After looking through their ingredient stock, and checking to make sure they had the manpower (actually woman-power) available, Vidya, one of the owners of Tea & Turmeric called me back and said that they were ready and willing to take on the challenge! My package of 120 bags of Organic Masala Chai arrived today, just one week after I first reached out to them! Somehow they found a way to get this special order done, on top of their regular business, and they did it with efficiency, clear communication and such kindness! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! A huge thank you to Vidya, her sister Kavita and a special thanks to their sweet mom, who joined in to make this special gift for our daughter, future son in-law and their wedding guests happen! ”
